So I was doing Violet Hold and we wiped a few times. My wife was having issues with our kids so I took the second wipe as a sign to get my ass off of the computer and help out with dinner.
I logged out as a ghost. I logged back in as a ghost and [...]

Quoting Ghostcrawler (source - from blue.mmo-champion.com cuz I’m not going to dig through 25 pages of paladin QQ to find the original GC update):
I made some clarifications to my initial post.
You can use Hand of Protection during the internal cooldown, just not on yourself. The idea is to prevent the paladin from being able to [...]

For JC’s only, Solid Dragon’s Eye = 41 stam gem. JCs can use 3 of these and they are prismatic gems, meaning they match whatever color gem slot they are placed in, so they can be used to meet the socket bonus of the item.
Solid Majestic Zircon = 30 stam blue gem, epic quality.
Solid Sky [...]

There are a few interesting links that I’d like to point out. One is from the wowhead blog. It is part one of a three part series on leveling the secondary trade skills: cooking, fishing and first aid. The second link is from a wow-related site that I very rarely, save this one aspect since [...]

Wrath of the Lich King leveling is insanely easy! I started out in Howling Fjord. After I finished that zone, I went to the other starting zone, Borean Tundra, to do the quests there, since I figured they would be easy XP for me.
That was a great idea if I have to say so myself! [...]

Divine Shield: Penalty changed so that all damage done is reduced by 50% instead of a attack speed penalty.
1) Divine Protection no longer causes an attack penalty. Divine Shield’s penalty was changed to 50% less damage done by the paladin.
This is fine in my opinion. I’ve always thought it was too OP to bubble and [...]

Ghostcrawler has provided a list of the upcoming paladin changes, due out with the next content patch (source):
We have already announced or suggested all of these changes would be forthcoming in the next minor content patch. I thought I would list them all in one place for ease of use.
Divine Shield: Penalty changed so that [...]

The expansion is out! I haven’t picked it up yet but I will tonight after work. I’m excited to play all the new content and the new instances. I have heard that death knights are steam rolling much higher level toons. I’m going to roll one for the times when I get tired of leveling [...]

My paladin finally got exalted with the Shattered Sun Offensive this morning. As soon as I became exalted, I bought two shields, the Dawnforged Defender (for tanking) and the Sunward Crest (for healing) and I bought three amulets, the Shattered Sun Pendant of Might for retribution and the Shattered Sun Pendant of Acumen for healing and [...]

So the paladin’s were hot-nerfed again. This time, the developers made Avenging Wrath cause Forbearance again. The forbearence debuff was removed in patch 3.0.2 (and now re-added). I don’t feel that this was a horrible nerf though. The was another PvP nerf.
Paladins were able to use Divine Shield and then pop their wings (i.e. cast [...]
