Daily savings time rolled through this past Saturday. I set (most) of my clocks one hour ahead. My computers did this automagically.

I don’t know how I only realized it now, but the recently implemented patch 3.0.8 added 13 new world drop jewelcrafting recipes. From the greatness that is wowhead, here they are. These drop only if you are a jewelcrafter, regardless if you’re 450/450 or 1/75.

I’ve been very busy since my last post. Between the time 3.0.8 went live and now, I’ve been running heroics and leveling jewelcrafting and also doing somethings I never thought I would do – raid 25-man Naxx and 25-man Obsidian Sanctum.
The 25-man Naxx/OS runs were very fun. I was the 3rd tank or the off-tank [...]

The only thing that I didn’t like about tanking H Gundrak was that I felt I has too little health. Then I remembered I could make one of the stamina-oriented trinkets that jewelcrafters can make, the Monarch Crab and I would still be above the raid crit cap of 540 defense!

I put on my prot gear this morning, got a Frosthide Leg Armor kit filled in the empty gems slots green gem slots I had and logged out before work. When I left home, I was sitting at just under 20k health.

In the very near future, I will be switching from ret to prot. When dual specs are implemented, I’ll be prot and ret (possibly prot and holy).

I dumped 375 skinning and picked up jewelcrafting the day before Wrath of the Lich King was released.
A LOT of people told me that I was stupid for doing that. Some pointed out that I should have waited until I accrued enough money to level JC from 1-375 in one day. I can agree with [...]
